I got new rear tires put on my Suzuka baby yesterday. Nice thick tread. Last stock rears only got 10,000 miles, but they were fun miles!

I took out my Denso Iridiums today for a look-see, and the white ceramic is kinda brown from the heat. So I've ordered some new IK24s for over night delivery. I've gotta have a smooth firing machine for the trip. My rear tires still look okay to go, but I will need some new ones when I get back.

I FINALLY got to packing! I managed pretty well with one LARGE duffle bag, one small duffle bag and a few odds and ends. Hope the Wintergreen resort has an iron or we're gonna look pretty shabby in clothes sitting in the bottom of a duffle bag for a week.

I even fit in one pair sneakers, one pair shoes, one pair sandals and sandals for Saturday night! I have clothes in case it's hot, in case it's cool, in case it's cloudy.....You get the picture right?

I packed a few things for Rick too.

Not sure they are the "right" shoes, for every occasion, but I'll wear them anyway.

I'll be sure to give you grief if they aren't.

I'm just took my first aid kit out of the trunk hole. Maybe I can fit a pair of might-not-need shoes in there.

So no first aid kit? Shoes instead?
