So no first aid kit? Shoes instead?
Yep. I've had the first aid kit in my cars for the kids but have never needed them. It's out. Shoes matter, band-aides don't!

I have a very small first aid kit in each car. Fits in the secret compartment. Bandaids, aspirin, hand sanitizer, antibiotic ointment and wipes to clean a boo boo. Check out your local Walgreens for something similar or just throw a few things in a zip lock bag.

I'm 99% packed! I got soooooooo much stuff, way too much I'm sure, but we'll be on the road 10 days, and who knows what the weather will be. Of course, a few last minute things to go in, like the hair dryer, and of course the zip lock bag (GALLON size) for the ##%% prescription drugs de jour.

Hope Rick can get by with one pair of jeans with clean underwear in each pocket.

This is way too funny ....... I just did a 9 day trip to NC, TN, WTD, SC and home last week .... packed too much needing only 1/2 of what I had packed ...... after all if you need something there is always a Wal-Mart or Mall nearby.......

We'll be home ... making name tags for SF...... you have my numbers and address ..... washer and dryer are working .... I have a couple of bottles of beer in the frig for Rick ..... plenty of steaks in the frig as well.... call if you need to......
