Time for a change
That's one big ass bike! I understand the desire. I've had small bikes since 1981 and sold my last one in February. I still drool when I walk by sport bikes. I was with a guy Wednesday night and saw a bunch of bikes lined up and the Paris to Dakar BMW caught my eye. As I was drooling over it the owner came out and I talked to him for a while and I guess my date didn't like it cuz he walked off and started looking in a shop window and when he walked me to my car he turned on his heel and took off. What can I say, the bike was a lot more interesting than he was.
I have no plans on buying one though.

A very good way to look at it. I witnessed an accident some years ago downtown between a car turning left and a motorcycle going straight. The motorcycle and rider came out on the losing end. He was thrown quite a ways away from the bike on impact. I stayed with him in the street until the ambulance came. I was shocked to find out later he only broke his collarbone. I have ridden a few times on one and I can see the appeal. Just not for me.
