Default Too Many Hobbies?

After seeing the guitar post by fastD, I realized I just have too many hobbies. Tracking the S2K, working on vehicles, woodworking, guitars, computer/network/web things, surf and deep sea fishing…

I never have enough time to really dedicate to any of them, but I seem to spend plenty of money on all of the necessary equipment.

Maybe I should grow up and focus on one or two of these and put the extra money into a retirement account. Then again, maybe not.

Do you find yourself in this predicament, or are you focused on your hobby?

I find my job often interferes with my hobbies. I have considered quitting but my wife does not make enough by herself to support us AND my hobbies. Plus I'd miss the stress.

I've been trying to figure out how to pick one of my hobbies and turn it into something that makes money.

I suppose that would risk its becoming real work, though. HPH

my hobbies are getting over jet lag and packing for the next trip. My job satisfies both those needs. Translation - I just got back from two weeks in Japan, and I have to go to China (again) in a few weeks.

Actually, my hobbies are movies, horses and car. The movie part I get plenty of as I get to watch 3 or 4 movies on an international flight. The horses and car suffer in my absence though. I haven't driven the S in 3 or 4 weeks.
