Default Took A Drive to the Coast

Well its been over a week with out going for a drive, so Cindy and I went to the coast for some good weather.
Had great weather with fog on I 5 most of the way to Hwy 20 and as soon as we hit Hwy 20 it was gone in less than 4 miles. 463 miles and lots of smiles.
Here are the pic's from Sun up on I 5 to Hwy 116 over by the coast.

We took off at about 6am and we got home at around 7:30pm
Here's is the map of where we went

Looks like a cool route, Rod. I haven't looked at the photos yet.

Hey, my daughter is a zookeeper at the Sacramento Zoo, after getting her BS in Animal Science at Davis. I'll be flying into SMF at 12:20PM on Dec. 23rd and heading to the zoo to see her before she gets off work.

Sounds like fun. Our S is under cover. No cruises for quite some time.

That's great Kyras, good profession. We use to go to the zoo all the time when my oldest daughter was younger. We used to raise orphaned or injured wild birds and animals.

Christa loves working there but the pay isn't the greatest. I think it's a starter-zoo and then zookeepers move on for better pay.

I didn't realize how much northern CA coastal water looks like Oregon's. Nice trip.
