That's what I heard, and they are free.

Sure they are in stock if you want to spend $150.00 plus tax for 10 pair of paper glasses. Otherwise they SHOULD be in stock the end of next week for a mere $70.00 for the 10 pack.

I will be SOOOOO happy when this is over. It is becoming a pain in the butt at work. Now I have to help with parking and bus loading for our district. I will need to leave extra early for work and getting home after work may take a couple hours when it is usually 45 minutes.

Found this interesting map with historical data for visibility probability on August 21.

I’ll have three cameras on Auto Exposure Bracketing during the totality using fresh batteries.

Keeping the beer cold and remembering to bring an opener are other concerns.
After getting up at midnight four four straight nights to shoot the full and near full moon, I think I finally nailed it. Daytime sun with #5 ND filter @ 1/80th and f16 and moon @1/160th and f9. Huge bracketing around the latter for totality. Bailey's Beads, diamond ring, and prominences are a crapshoot (you can't practice for that), but I figure somewhere around 1/1,000th-1/2,000th with no time for bracketing. That's just for my setup, of course: 840 mm. Go easy on the beer, Gary. A little will calm your nerves and keep you from being parched, but that's it. After two months of being totally intimidated by this, I think I've finally got it. I'm friggin stoked! Good luck with your shooting and the weather.

Then what? Before the 6/12 annular eclipse I ordered 25 pairs of eclipse glasses and passed them out to my friends. I ran out and a few people were mad at me. This time I ordered 50. I'm down to one and still passing them out.

I notice the path of totality goes right over the Dragon. Meetup? You could kill two bucket-list items in about an hour.

This article answered a question I had about the eclipse: https://www.space.com/37774-total-so...e=notification

Very comprehensive info on their website, as well: https://www.space.com/33797-total-so...017-guide.html
