I'm sure glad that Southern California is nice just now -- Southeast Florida is awful. I don't see why anyone would waste their time coming all the way down here. It's just terrible. Beyond ugly. Flat out miserable.

Epic post, Dave. Its beginning to look like spring here. The past few days temps have been in the mid-70s and plants are beginning to sprout new growth. Beautiful time. It'll chill down a bit today, but there's no doubt spring is coming.

 

I was kind of glad that we got an inch or two of snow the other day just "freshen up" those snowbanks.
White is the pretty winter wonderland.
gray, brown and black don't look so good as the snow melts away and leaves everything the snow plow picked up.

The other difference is in December when you back into that snowbank you get a soft whooompphh.
They've melted and refrozen into concrete barriers now.
So now you hear this god awful crunching, oh-crap-was-that-a-tail-light, sound.

 

Yeah, my Mom asked Rick to check her bumper the other day. Nope, it won't buff right out.
