Default Ultimate Project Car

All Billet Cobra.

Imagine all the polishing. And it's screwed together, no welds.

Check it out

Deep pockets were needed for this one.

I would need about six hours to put this together.

The car was built for Larry Ellison (the CEO of Oracle, a software company). You can get the book giving all the details of the build here (a limited edition, only $4,500 per copy):

Or you can just read all about it online.

Really, who cares. Sorry but this 'look at me' and what my endless $ can do crap does nothing for me. I'd much rather he did something good for society than piss it away on this and I suspect most of the workers on the project feel the same.... but you won't see that in his book.

I used to live in the Bay Area and there were tales of Larry Ellison and his manic drive for the biggest, brightest, of everything. He seems like a guy with a really small ......... well you know.

Sorry, but real car enthusiasts have no use for those whose involvement ends with signing a check.

I don't know, there would be no great art in the world without patrons. I have to believe just because of the nature of the build that it's a work of art as much as a car.

There's a Veyron here in town that sits in a collection in a house under a sealed glass dome with 0 miles. That seems more of a waste to me but then again it's art in mechanical form.

Not a fan of that shiny aluminum look.
