Just to clarify for Legal Bill, this is on a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay about 150 miles from the Atlantic, but still big water.

The standalone two car gararge is 28'x26' with 10' ceiling and a upstairs for man cave. The house has a two car garage with 10' ceiling as well. So the space is a lot more than I had at our previous house You can see openings in this pic

Pier done for now. When house gets finished will add boat lift, water, lighting and electricity

Pier looks great, Bill. What's the MLWD at the end of the pier? How big is the boat you're going to have docked there?
