Valentines day has not been celebrated in our house for 7 years. Michele's Mom past on Valentines Day 7 years ago. We usually talk about her Mom and have a quite dinner at home. This year I anticipated the same dinner at home meloncoly evening and that was it, no gifts cards etc... but to my surprise I walk thru the door and on the table is a card from Michele and one from our son along with a pic of him. We went out to dinner and the three of us and had a nice time. I asked her why the change and she said we have a son now all holidays are on. Here is the pic she made for me

This is a hard crowd....I share a very personal message and....zippo.
Sorry, Jerry - guess we didn't go back far enough to read your previous post. That's great when you have a kid that's still giving you a Valentine (and a hand-made one at that) when she's an adult...says a lot about the kind of parents you guys are too.

Charlie, look what you have to look forward to...what a precious picture. And, yes, when they're young, every holiday is celebrated!

Charlie

As you're finding out, having children changes everything. Fortunately, its usually for the better.

Christian is getting big now. That's nice.
