Vandalism thread
Getting back to the topic...
My 1993 Accord was keyed three weeks after I got it new. But only the passenger door. (touch-up paint)
Then about 8 years later, it was hit-and-run in a parking lot. (repaired)
Then the rear quarter window was broken and a pair of sun-glasses stolen while away from home. (repaired)
Then it was keyed all around, almost every surface was damaged; also away from home. (repainted whole car, insurance wanted to total the car then, but I managed to get the bill below the cut-off and saved the car)
Then the driver's side window was broken, but nothing stolen; in front of home. (repaired)
My insurance on the Accord is now much higher than on my S2000
Fortunately, nothing bad has happened to my S2000 yet (knock on wood).

Here's a new one. I had my car up on the rack for it's annual lookover. We noticed the left front flap under the car was gone. I thought maybe I broke it off. But when we looked there was no breakage, and the clips were gone too.
My cars a garage queen rarely parked on the street, but it had been out in a lot for several hours in the last couple days.
Somebody stole my left front flap!!! Now that's a desperate S2000 owner. hmmmm It's the only thing that could have happened as both clips had been removed!
I ordered one, I wonder what they cost, with clips?

That happened to me years ago when I owned my Mercedes. It was practically new and parked in a lot on a Sun with no one else around. Came out to find someone had hit the back end above the wheel, and left of course. It couldn't have been an accident. I was so mad. But you just have to deal with it.
