Deb, I didn't see this post earlier, but if you could find that link this Ohio boy sure would appreciate it. The antenna was 13$, which isn't much, but it's the principle dammit!!!
^ Here's the link to a hidden antenna that was for sale on ebay. Of course I know nothing about it, but it might be a start for you.

In 1972 I had just graduated from college and had saved enough money to buy a brand new MGB. Fast forward to 1975. I was living in Brooklyn and parked my MGB on the street. There were gangs of kids, teens mostly, who roamed around and got pleasure vandalizing property. On night they went on a stone throwing rampage. One of their stones hit the windshield frame of my MG smashing the windshield, bending the frame, and the metal rib on the top. I went to Stucker's, a foreign car junk yard in Staten Island, and bought a new frame and windshield from a wrecked B for $10.00 and installed it. Because the top's rib was bent, it never sealed properly, and the car flooded in every rainstorm. Soon the gauges stopped working and the car developed a terrible mildew smell (worse than the normal MG mildew smell). I traded the car in for a Triumph TR-6. I still miss the MGB.
In 1982 E.W.A. and I were living in a loft in downtown Manhattan. We bought our first "real" car, a 1982 Honda Accord LX 3 door hatchback. When it was 3 weeks old with 450 miles someone hit it and pushed it onto the sidewalk. Later that night we went downstairs to check and saw it on the sidewalk. Not only did we have a few thousand dollars in damage, but we got two tickets for parking on the sidewalk. Later that same year, someone stole our license plates.
Recently, here in suburban New Jersey, E.W.A. took her TL to the supermarket. She made the mistake of parking next to an SUV. When she came out there were a number of scratches on the side and two significant shopping cart dents. These, without question, were done on purpose.
Vandalism sucks. Period.

wow, crazy stories here. So sad how people are so careless and or just dont care about ones personal property. This is why i dont take my S to any parking lots where i have to park between 2 cars etc. Thats what my beater-car is for
as long as it gets me to work, grocery store, mall etc im fine with it
