Veterans' Info stolen

 

I saw that. I have been trying for an hour to get the report by the web site. I guess they are swamped due to this disclosure.

First I heard that it only effected Veterans that served after 1975 (which does not effect me).

Then a co-worker that is also a Viet Nam era Veteran told me that he heard that if one had any activity on your VA account since then (I.E. a VA loan) that it would be included in this data base.

Last night, I visited the VA administration's web site and it does not make a statement about which veterans are really at risk.

 

This is typical of the VA. I heard that it also effected vets discharged before 1975 who had recived any vet benefits. I went to college on the GI bill under the Korean bill. I guess I am in there too.
