I just watched the first episode. I still maintain that there is no such thing as a bad Ken Burns documentary.

Our local PBS station is running it again at 9:30. I think I'm going to watch it again.

A great series so far. : And I agree with Rob about Ken Burns.
And I see clearly why tonight's episode was called "deja vue." Looking forward to the remaining 9 episodes.

Yes. Deja Vue is the perfect name.

I taped it.... all of it. I wonder if one of my closet friends can handle it... Sometimes going back is not easy or the best road.

Maybe I missed something. Why the jump in sequences from the early 1950's to the mid 1960's and back again. I found that disjointed.

Ken Burns: AKA The antidote to insomnia.

Seems I missed episode 1. Have to see if it's on line somewhere before I try to watch #2 tonight.

Regimental reunions have helped a lot of my guys.

Hence the title of the episode, "Deja Vu".

Was a good episode. I will continue watching. While the time period is slightly before I was old enough to pay attention, these events were within my lifetime. As a student of military history in general, I am interested.

I think it's on-line but I won't get home until about 1800 and I doubt I can survive nearly 3 hours of Ken Burns at one sitting. Time to start caffeinating.
