If any of you are on Facebook, I have created a "secret" group for us Vintage users, where posts are only viewable by confirmed members, unlike here, where everyone can see what you post. I have added several of you (you know who) to this group, but in case others may want to join in, PM me with your Facebook name, and I will add you.

(The Facebook group is called "Cool Car Folks." )

... Gene, just wondering. Is FB really secure? I have a small account, but personally I'm not really a FB fan. Do you need a substitute for posting in Vintage? Will it split up the Vintage group? Maybe not ... (I know, It's not really any of my affair.)

This is not intended to split up the Vintage group by any means. This is just an option for those of us on Facebook to post car stuff that all our other "friends" could not care less about. Kind of like an adjunct to this group. And this car group is set up to be secure...much more so than this forum; Only those who I have added to the group can see the others' personal info, and that is only as much as they allow via their security settings.

Jim, It's a pretty innocuous group that's "by invitation only", no less secure than the best security that you can get from Facebook. Okay, I watched "Social Network" and would believe that Mark Zuckerberg would sell his mother, so perhaps nothing is secure there, but this is a very "Cool Car" secret group. Thanks Gene!
