It snowed all night here in Durango last night. And it is supposed to snow all day today. Coming down hard right now. Maybe 8 more inches to go. The locals and skiers love it. It has been so dry here. My daughter and her husband have been here skiing for the last three days. So much fun!

Jim, I know you don't do Facebook, but someone posted this picture today of downtown Durango. Yep, you got snow!

What a weather day! Beautiful sunshine early followed by rain followed by hail followed by lightening and thunder followed by high winds followed by sunshine followed by hail followed by rain followed by high wind followed by night. Snow tomorrow!

Oh I forgot the tornado in northern Ohio! :banged:

Sunny and 75 today. Just beautiful. Cooler weather headed this way, though, starting tomorrow.

And I thought Colorado had exciting weather. Your year is off to a crazy start, all right.

Almost 60 here today. Gale force winds tomorrow and tomorrow night and much colder. Then Sat/Sun looking stormy but how stormy remains to be seen. Could have very little snow up to 9". Hoping very little since the +1 is driving home from NJ Sun.

Right now the snow forecast is 3-5", mostly Sun. But it's always iffy here. Just south showing 5-8". Any accumulation creates havoc with driving. I told the +1 to just stay in NJ until Mon. He can work from up there. And liberal leave will probably be in effect Mon for those who are not already on involuntary leave.

We had a front come through yesterday. Had a long low rumble of thunder followed by the house shaking and rattling windows. Very unusual for this time of year. Got about 4" of snow overnight with more on the way. Temps will be in the teens and low 20s for a few days. Looks like I'll have to get the snow blower out. Only the 3rd time this winter, can't complain.

We had some real wind gusts yesterday. Temps were in the 40's but it felt soooooooooo much colder. We have also been spared from the snow that is up to the north. Works for me.
