We were in the negative numbers, right now we have 2 degrees feels like -14. Thankfully, this is the last day of the cold snap. I wake at night, and if the heat isn't running, I start to fear that it may have quit on us. No heat, frozen pipes, too many are dealing with this issues. Oh and the fires that have broken out seem so numerous. So difficult to fight, people having to leave their homes in frigid weather. Unsettling time. I don't know how anyone lives in areas that have cold like this all winter.

Thanks, Deb ! I hope so. Last night Steph and I attended our 21st Nutcracker ballet event - ever since she was 6. Had a wonderful time. The event had to be diverted this year to the Hobby Convention venue, since the Wortham was seriously flooded during Harvey and is still in restoration.

11 degrees now, but the wind has abated, so no "feels like" temps that are so brutal.

We stayed in most of the day, but late in the afternoon, went out for late lunch/early dinner to a popular local Italian restaurant. The granddaughter came along with us. . Nice way to cure some cabin fever and the food was delicious. Temps should be mid to high 20's when I leave for work tomorrow. That works for me!
