Brrr. It‘s freezing in Houston. Icy roads and bridges are making driving very hazardous - wrecks everywhere.

Beautiful here! Sunny, blue sky, 24 degrees. I'm sitting in my recliner with an ice pack on my hip watching my wife cross country ski in the front yard.

We are getting the snowy/icy conditions tonight and tomorrow AM. Just enough to make it a mess! These are the days I'm glad I don't have to go out if I don't feel like it. And if I do, I only have to walk two blocks to get to a store (Target/Safeway/JJs).

We had the black ice issue yesterday at the commute hour. Not pretty.

Today it is sunny and so much nicer than yesterday. I was cold all day at the office yesterday. The heat was at an acceptable temp, but when it's cloudy and cold outside the office just doesn't get warm. Today it is 35 degrees and sunny. I'll take it...A bit of snow (not much) expected tonight.

At least it was nice and dry today.
Got the SL500 out for awhile and took it to work.
thankfully it's an automatic as traffic was horrendous from an earlier accident.

I should be seeing my first real snow this weekend in Loveland, CO. I've had three times with 1 to 2 inches, that was gone from my driveway in a day. So, do I run out today and buy milk and bread?

Yesterday was in the 60s so I got in an ElliptiGO ride while I could.

Sunday, 1-21-2018.
Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 28. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

To heck with milk and bread! Get bourbon and chips. It will make the night go by faster.

Sounds like a fun snow event, since you don't have to go anywhere. We've dodged a bunch of bullets so far. The next week is gonna be nice here - 50s. Yay! I really don't want to revisit those awful frigid temps we had.

That is a great photo...depth and colors are wonderful.
