The Vintage Weather Thread
I don't even bother to put a coat on for anything above 30° unless I'm going to be out for a long time.
It got up to a pleasant 67° here today.
However, here is the forecast for tomorrow night and St. Paddy's Day:
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Sunday evening through
Monday morning.
* Locations... all of Delaware, the Maryland Eastern Shore and
Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May counties
in New Jersey.
* Hazard types... snow.
* Accumulations... 3 to 6 inches of snow. Highest accumulations
expected in central and southern Delmarva and southeast New
Jersey.
* Timing... precipitation should begin Sunday evening and may start
as rain. Most precipitation will change to snow by midnight. The
heaviest snow should fall overnight Sunday night. Snow should
start tapering off Monday morning and the accumulating snow is
expected to be over on Monday afternoon.
* Impacts... snow will make for difficult driving overnight Sunday
and is likely to greatly affect the Monday morning commute.
Temperatures will be starting above freezing before it snows, so
icing of untreated roadways and walkways is likely as
temperatures fall and the snow starts accumulating.
* Winds... northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Some
gusts up to 40 mph along the immediate Atlantic coast.
* Temperatures... in the mid 20s to lower 30s while its snowing.

I know I should just
but I'm up earlyish just to get a ride in before it hits 88 F like the prediction. I was in Kennedy Meadows on Thursday and Friday nights, and it was 18 F and 22 F respectively. So refreshing.

(Glad you had a nice visit in KM. At least you got a taste of cold!)
We had about 6" of snow here, although more in other spots. It has stopped now. Everthing closed today, but I expect the afternoon will not be too bad for getting around. Good thing is it won't last long and should be totally gone on Thurs with the warming trend this week. Fri will be 65 - just in time for our trip to Myrtle Beach.
Hmmm...well, the weekend here and there is looking 50/50. Maybe that will change. Seems to be a rainy pattern for a week or so starting this weekend. At least it won't be really cold, but some days look chilly - not springlike. Boo...
