We have a couple of inches of the white stuff on the ground here on the westside with up to 12" on the east side.

It is still snowing here.

Wow!! Just had a clap of thunder. Can you say thunder snow?

Looked out the window this AM to see snow. They told me it was coming, but I didn't want to believe it!

Thankfully, it only stuck on the grassy surfaces, and on the cars. The roads are fine. It's raining now.

Had to run South to Hartford CT early this morning.
Sadly I was driving or would have taken some gorgeous new snow photos.
The sun peaking up over the treeline illuminating the little bit of snow on the trees was awe inspiring.

A very cold day on tap for tomorrow - a high of only 34!! Unfortunately, the condo has chosen tomorrow for an all day power outage, so we will be gone until 7:30 PM. The +1 will be at work. Probably meet up for dinner somewhere after. I plan to spend the day at my mother's house, starting to organize things for clearing it out. Her furnace was on the blink when I switched it to heat last week. I was able to get my guy out to look at it while I was over there the other day, and he got a part and fixed it the next day. Just in time!!

Cold, rainy raw day here. Still, better than snow in my book!
