Heavy snow in Wilmington, DE. Visiting and helping our daughter who had wrist surgery and will probably be here for a few days before we return to Lewes which is going to get 10-12". Wish I had my Jeep up here.

I guess the light fluffy stuff isn't as heavy to shovel. The problem is with the wind, it just blows around the houses and cars and lands back on the driveway. So far, maybe 2 inches here, another 5-6 expected? Who know.

One of my nieces and a bunch of friends in Jersey are posting up pics of the snow. Crazy! We are just hoping my niece's baby doesn't decide that tonight is a good time to make his or her grand entrance into the world. Looks to me like it would take a snowplow to get her to the hospital.

I think Lainey's been stealing all of my snow this year.

they're getting hammered and we've got an inch or so.

yup sure enough Lainey got all of my snow. We only got maybe a few inches.
Of course they probably won't know what to do with and she'll suggest I can come get it.

the underlying reason we didn't get the snow was basically it was too cold to snow.
We're at 6.7° so all of the moisture got wrung out of the air to our south.

Yep. Looks like a foot of it piled up on the gas grill. Rick is out there now. He's not heading into work, I don't think I am either.

It's still snowing and damn, it's cold out there. Have I mentioned I don't care for winter?

A non-event here in Rowley. Got maybe an inch. Not worth getting the snow-thrower out for.

I think Lainey and Rick really like snow and they're welcome to mine anytime they want it.

We got 6" and it is 6* here. Matt is in LI (very snowed in) so I have to go it alone. I don't even think I can get to the feeders.

It was in the 60's again, last night. I had the sucker on and the ceiling fan on. I'm at John Wayne/Orange County/Santa Ana airport to catch a flight to Sacramento, to catch a train to Reno. I'll be in Reno for 3 nights enjoying lows in the 20's.
