I’ve always felt that the sun always rises brightest, the weather is no better, the living conditions can’t be beaten, and any adversities are short lived.

Regardless of where you live…that’s the reason you’ve chosen live there. it's a multifaceted world.

A little warming trend. Still in mid thirties.

I could not stand all the dirt/sand on the carpet of my new Jeep so I broke out the vacuum after work. Ran the car through a touchless car wash yesterday. The wash removed a great deal of the salt and sand, but it's still dirty. I'm hoping Rick can wash it on Sunday in the driveway. Temps should be warm enough.

Then maybe another storm next week to mess it up again.

It warmed up enough that I could wash the cars after I got home from work tonight.
Mind you it was dark and I was only working from the garage lights.
Tomorrow's daylight will yield how good a job I did.
Last time I did this, eh... not so good. little dirt triangles all over the car where I missed.

So much for having a clean car.... We got about 4-5" of snow yesterday, heavy slushy stuff. It ALMOST looked pretty on the trees while I was driving to work today. I would have enjoyed the beauty of it more, were I not sick of winter.

More snow tomorrow another 6" or so. Possibly another storm on the weekend.

At least the days are getting longer.

The driveway is almost down to blacktop for the first time since Christmas. Supposed to get close to 10" of snow tonight and tomorrow.

ABC News reported from PA Jerry's neighborhood yesterday. It did not look good - lots of ice and downed trees/power lines. We have been fortunate. Some icing downtown area here, but not bad. Suburbs were a different story, especially up in MD - Frederick area.

Was happy to have an AWD car yesterday. 500' driveway had 8" to 10" in it when I got home last night. No problem getting to the garage. Got another 5" overnight.

Seems that some Philadelphia suburbs were hit hard: NPR Article Hope Jerry was not affected.

I was out this morning for a very short period of time. I like snow and wintery conditions but subzero (-10 to -15F) temperatures pare away at my enthusiasm. I’m sitting indoors awaiting a bit warmer temperatures before that enthusiasm is rekindled.

I'm fortunate to have power to my home. I feel sorry for those in the Pennsylvania regions without power.
