Man is it ever pouring. This is our third rain since last Sunday, and as of this morning at 9 we've had 5.8 inches. We're at 1500 feet so the Napa Valley hasn't had as much, but it's still coming down. Supposed to rain through tomorrow. We're always being reminded that the drought isn't over, but this will certainly help.

Our normal rainfall for the season is about 30 inches.About the second year in our house we had five feet of rain, July - June!

Yay! Rain is definitely needed here. Not much of that system currently drenching you up there is supposed to reach us down here, but I'm glad you guys are getting some up there!

Winter sucks!! I'm tired of it. 2 degrees this AM. Another storm coming in, but we will be fortunate and get some rain. Maybe that will wash away some of the ugly frozen snow. Oh and we had an earthquake yesterday. I did not feel the earth move, as I was "shakin it" at the YMCA at the time. Rick heard it and felt it. 2.4 Nothing Patricia would get excited about.

I'm suffering from some serious winter blues right now. I can't stay focused/interested at work. I go home and 30 seconds after walking in the door, I'm bored and don't feel like doing anything. I feel like all my dreams/plans are on hold. I lose 4 months of my life to the winter blahs every year.

Yep, nothing going on, nothing on TV. I was telling Rick last night that our lives are just so exciting after dinner. He takes a nap, and I watch nothing on TV, even though it's on (because nothing is on) and click around the internet. It has been slow for both of us at our respective places of employment, which adds to the doldrums.

What about the 4.1? Those are fun but if it's under a 3, I won't feel it. It just may be a rattle of dishes.

It's predicted to be 80 here for the next three days. I prefer 70 but it beats 2.

I think the reports were in error. First they said a 2.4 then they said there were two quakes, including a 4.1 off Nantucket Island. As far as I know the accurate report was just one which was a 2.4. Many folks felt it. No rattling of dishes, but folks felt the houses shake a bit, and heard the bang. The gas man had just changed the meter in our house. Rick heard the bang and thought the house might be getting ready to blow up.

PS I would love to see 80 degrees for three days!!!
