Thumbs up Voting and What Method?

Not political here. Just wondering how Vintage votes, if at all.

I used to always enjoy going to the voting place in Acton. It was at one of three places. The rec room of the oldest church in town, Acton Rehab, or the rec room at the mobile home park. Easy in and out, and I'd see faces I hadn't seen in years. This time I opted for the mail-in ballot. I don't want to stand in line at the huge high school where I'd be going.

My polling place is only a mile as the crow flies, but 14 miles by road. As I don't have wings, I vote absentee ballot every year. (sent it in last week)

Love this early voting. The Library early polling place is only a mile from our house. The regular school polling place is three miles.

And we missed all of the lines!!!

I'd be delighted to have the option of early voting.
But we have a small town only ~2000 voters.
it would be nice to have the extended voting but would cost a fortune for few people.

Hey, Dean, looks like I'll be driving up to Vacaville for Christmas. If you two will be in town, maybe I could drop by and play with Xylie again.

I'll be making the 20 minute drive to my polling place because I forgot to request an absentee ballot.

I went to a meet the candidates night for my parks and recreation district on Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when 50-60 people showed up. I didn't expect so many people to take an interest in such a minor race. I was even more surprised at how hot tempered the discussion was.

This is my second general election here in Palm Beach County, FL -- the place they made the movie about, hanging chads and all. My first one, two years ago, was small and relatively obscure, so we voted at our precinct polling place, the old folks' home down the block.

This time, I stood in line for early voting, for an hour in the sun. And the process itself was as weird as any I've ever been a part of, in Illinois, Florida (30 years ago), Colorado, or New Mexico.

Except for the fact that this election may not be close, I'd be worried about the Florida disaster of 2000 happening all over again.

Next time, it's an absentee ballot for me, for sure. HPH
