and just who among us hasn't hummed "rolland the headless thompson gunner"on our drive to work at least twice a week??....now he's free to hang with the werewolves,drink pina coladas,and always be sure his hair is.....perfect.

He reportedly went peacefully in his sleep -- pretty ironic considering his early out-of-control reputation. He's been sober for the past 18 years, though.
I'll miss him very much. His later work is IMO even better than the stuff he did in the 70s.
