Weekend at Dean's
When I reread the thread, I was amused that both Dean and Granny said they could not drink at the party, but that didn't last long. They imbibed quite a bit as I recall. As much as any of us could recall.
Rori answered my email. It was good to hear from her.
Dean passed away nine months ago today.
She said it has been difficult, but getting better. She moved her mother in with her a few months ago. And is still working in Orlando. She has a great support group in The Villages, which has really helped her. Dean spent a lot of time in his last days reflecting on life and was still very touched that we were there for him. She is living day to day, as we all are.

I've been hanging out with you folks a little bit lately. I just read this thread. Seems like Dean was a great guy with an interesting sense of humor. I'm sorry that I never got to meet him.
And yes, LB's thread was a classic, kinda like Dean himself.
