That's good, but hey, the designation 'Vintage' starts with the Latin (Fr) word for 'wine' not chariots.
Even using that designation I'm not much of a vintage "owner". It's rare that any bottle I buy lasts for more than a few weeks before it gets emptied. "May improve with aging" means I'll wait until next week's bbq to open it.

I talk the talk, but not walk the walk. Can't drink much alcohol right now because of medications. I'm the designated driver...

I saw you on the other side of the crowd at start of Travis' memorial run. But I didn't have a chance to make my way over to say hi before we were sent to our cars. I'll be at Megameet VI.

Traveler<------<

Why didn't you say hi at the memorial?

I won't be going to the Megameet. It's mega traffic too. I did it two years ago when we went to Big Bear.

Still, it's a great question in the philosophical sense.

What makes one vintage is a spirit of comraderie; a tolerance for the views of others; an appreciation for the S2000 in terms of the sports cars of the past; the occasional use of spell-check, and; a few minor aches and pains that don't slow us down.

Feel free to add to the list.
. . . the occasional use of spell-check . . . OK, counselor, I will stipulate to poor typing accuracy, said deficiency being made obvious by the presently inoperative spell check tool on this site.

I was very happy to find this forum, as I was beginning to think that most owners, and most members of this site, were 20 or 30-somethings.

I wasn't there. When the caravan left for the memorial, I left for the airport.

May I make a suggestion here?

When welcoming new members perhaps we should avoid TLA's *

*TLA's = Three Letter Acronyms such as VSA. It does not make a new person to this site feel very welcome when we seem to speaking in code.

Just a thought. As I ran into a new owner today and suggested that S2Ki.com was a great resource. As they are a potential Vintage member, it would be a shame if theydid not feel welcome here becuase they did not understand the "TLA" 's.

Just a thought, that I hope is viewed in a constructive light.
