^10-24-2020. I had a young man on the internet asking me all about this car as he wants one and currently has a 2006 Laguna Blue S2000. My S2000 is a 2007 but we both have the same mileage and have kept them stock. Anyway, I took some photos for him that he asked for.



^10-24-2020. As my hottie sits in the garage. Gotta put the top back on, move it over to make room for the Crosstour, hook up the battery charger and cover it up. I have been parking my Crosstour in the driveway while I'm gone, in hopes of making it look like someone lives here. The poor thing gets filthy! Does that help make it look like an occupied home? Maybe not and I hate to see how dirty it is when I get here. I'm glad I drove the NSX today. Some times on my trips to CA it never moves.

 

I would think lights on timers in the house would be better than cars in the drive. But, you are the S2k vintage traveler, so I suspect you've researched what's best.

 

What I have is six outdoor cameras with bright LED lights. The thing about that is when somebody walks by even just the driveway, an LED light comes on. Whether it's recording anything or not, a bright light comes on. There's also one near the front door, one at the side garage door, two at the back and one on the other side, so I figure just having a bright light turn on when you walk by my house is enough to scare anybody away. I also have Ring at the front door.

 

Why am I not surprised. Sometimes I remember to lock the door at night . . . but now we have a puppy to protect us (hey, she's 9 mo's old and a woppy 30# or something like that).

 

Then we have the other extreme. In Colorado I've got nothing as far as cameras. If someone rings the doorbell, all three cats run and hide. I am never afraid there though because I'm out in the boonies and everybody's got a couple acres and it's just not scary. If I leave the front door unlocked by mistake and I don't even care.

 

Patty, maybe you should read the book In Cold Blood.

 

We hang around the house with the back door unlocked, but do lock up at night. My sister's house was broken into once. It is a violation. It's not that she's in a bad neighborhood by any means. After that, the house is always locked up like Fort Knox, alarm system and now of course, the camera at the door bell.

Quiet weekend here. We got some walking in while weather was nice, and some top down time. I went to the gym yesterday AM. Inside class,but only three of us REALLY distanced. Sanitizer before and after class. I'm comfortable there and happy to go back.

Today I ran a couple errands, including making a purchase of live crickets for the granddaughter's chameleon. Ick! Since she is without her wheels, she asked me to run the errand. She would have come along for the ride, but it was quicker to just head to Petco on my own. While out I picked up a couple of hot dogs for the grandson, keeping them warm on the seat heater in the Jeep. A grandma's work is never done. Strangest delivery ever.

 

I don't do scary. I do pay attention and have great view of what's around.

 

Oh boy do I have plans this weekend - the wood chipper finally arrived last night, along with several other implements. This attaches to the back of the tractor and is PTO-driven, meaning it's basically a 30hp death machine. It'll mulch any branches up to 5in thick. We have a large pile of offcuts sitting in a paddock that we're going to turn into a former problem. Can't wait!
