We are having dinner with a friend tomorrow night and a few friends on Saturday night. Time to catch up with a couple of them we haven't seen in a while.

 

Arrive in Antigua Thursday afternoon.

Friday- Couples massage and private dinner at the resort for our anniversary
Saturday- Tour of the island with a variety of stops
Sunday- Snorkeling with sea turtles then the night party at Shirley Heights

 

I went to Antigua twice. It really was nice. It was a very longgggggggggg time ago. I'm sure it has changed and is much more developed. I'd love to see some pics and hear your thoughts on it.

We're staying in the NorthEast corner of the island, just a quick walk from Devil's Bridge NP. We'll be staying at the resort on the days with 3 or 5 cruise ships. No need to be out in town when that shit-show happens.

We've got a variety of things planned, included a day at Barbuda. I'll get a day of golf in and maybe fishing one day.

We'd never have stayed at this resort, but I won the resort part of the trip at a charity event. I'll try to keep the vacation thread updated. I'm going pretty light camera wise, just a 10-20 wide and my "new, used 18-200 because I dropped my old one" every day lens. I'm not bringing anything longer so hopefully, things are close enough.

 

I will be starting up the saws and cutting/milling about 500ft of timber this weekend to make a bunch of plinths.
Love woodworking just as much as I do cars. This time of year and car is put away and the saws are out to play.

 

Working on organization of a massive computer file dump for the HOA. Soooo much fun!!

 

Trying out my walk-behind leaf blower. The new B&S bumped the hp up from 5 to 6.5. I can really tell the difference. It blows at 200 mph.

 

A hang around the house weekend so far. Went to my spin class. I've missed the last three with this instructor. I was away, she was away. She kicked my tail!
Rick played cribbage with our elderly neighbor for a while this afternoon. I puttered around.

I freshened up the bird feeders this PM. I had a lovely Norther Flicker in the yard this AM.

Tomorrow's weather will be better. Maybe I'll get some outside time.

 

We are expecting a big ice storm tonight into Sunday, it just started raining heavily. I cleaned the pine needles off of both cars today since it was clear out today. Plan on hibernating tomorrow I’m sure there will be accidents all over the roads around here tomorrow.
