Default What range of MPG have you experienced?

Today at the MWG the subject came up about how the S is like owning two different cars in one. That lead to a discussion of the range of MPG one has experienced.

On a trip to a meet in Lake George in the rain top up I got 33.1 MPG on the high side. Normally at our meets on drives I get about 22 - 24 MPG.

At the track 12.24 MPG.

What about you?

on the return run from Spring Fling 3 years ago, I got somewhere around 31.
Far and away the best I've ever gotten and that was remarkably long term spirited driving.
Typically it drops in around 24-26.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anything below 20.

We don't track it all that often. I think we have hit 29 mpg on a few trips.

I get close to 30 on the good side. At autocross it is about 9.

I haven't tracked mine that carefully. I have done more than 30 mpg top up, AC on, and towing a 500lb trailer. I don't think I have ever been below 20 mpg.

Right now I'm getting about 27 mpg on the freeway, 21 in the city, and about 9 mpg at the track.

With about 36,000 miles on the car I'm averaging 23.5 mpg. Worst was 15.8 and best [250 mile drive with the top up] 29.5. With top down the best I can hope for is about 27.5.

On a trip, in cruise control at 70, I get around 30 MPG. Highway/city driving around 27 MPG. When I drive around at our event's, the mileage drops considerably. Somehow, I believe the 9000 RPM's has something to do with that.
