While we all love our cars, when the S is gone (retired, sold, crashed, other reason), would you replace it with another S? Or, would you buy a different sports car, motorcycle, touring convertible, etc.....

If anything were to happen to my S I'd replace it with another one. Of course, if I was only able to own one car it would probably be something like a TSX or a BMW 3xx.

I love my S but it only works for me as a "weekend/fun car".

I still don't think there's anything in the price range that compares to the S. I'd buy another one, but I definitely have a taste for certain cars that I can't afford.

The new Lotus might steal me away, if I could afford it.

If the S were to go to the great Junk Yard in the sky next on the list, assuming cash is not a constraint, would be either a Caddy CTS-V (when they make a convertible) or a Maserati Spider.

I plan on being given a Viking funeral in my S. If something were to happen to it in the meantime, I would buy another one in a different color. However, the new Ford GT-40 looks interesting from what little I saw of it in a commercial. I know nothing about the car, but I do like the styling.

When the S is done, I am going with the latest Corvette. I think. I am fortunate in that I have a winter car as well as the S. If I had a 10 car garage, I would probably keep the S forever, but it will probably make more sense to trade or sell it as I won't have the room for yet another car.

I haven't had my S long enough - it'd be another S. But my husband did ask if I were to make the S strictly an autocrosser, what I'd want as my daily driver. I really like the looks of the new Mustang (with the optional V-8, of course). The new Corvettes look really nice too. It's about time they updated it with non-pop-up headlights.

I saw a program on the new Ford GT-40 the other day in which they showed everything from creating the prototype to the nearly finished product (they'd put a temporary 400 hp motor into it and it will eventually have a 500 hp motor), at which point they handily whooped Ferrari @$$ on a road course.

^ Hey, Bleu, how are you doing?? I think I'd probably get another one. I just have so much fun in this car. And don't need a daily driver.

I bought a Pilot yesterday, my wife doesn't trust me in a sports car....can't say I blame her. Maybe someday....a guy can dream , can't he?

To answer your other question, I still feel like hell. Can't believe how much a fractured sternum hurts, but it could have been much worse, and it will heal in time.

Peace,
Dave
