Going to my first NSX meet tomorrow: River Run. Looks like over 30 cars will show up.

Jerry (PA) will be meeting me half-way to buy me breakfast.
Gene,

I hope that you enjoy your first meet. I am fairly certain that you will.

On the second subject: Did you get that in writing from Jerry? If he does pay I want you to post pictures of him paying. He probably has a buy one get one free coupon.

The wife and I kicked off the weekend by playing 18 this afternoon at my favorite local high end golf course ( which happens to be very private but I have an in )

My darling reprobate wife decided after we finished that "dinner" was going to be ice cream.
So we finished up the day with banana splits, something neither of us had had in close to 35 years.

That 6:30 AM tee time tomorrow morning is gonna be tough.

I'm looking forward to hearing the excitement in your "voice" (in my imagination) about your first NSX meet. To me, the NSX owners around here that I know, are just like Vintage Owners. Just some nice people who love their cars. No snobbery.

That's cool! It's nice that she golfs too. And ice cream for dinner? That makes me wonder what desert was.

I just had a margarita instead of going to the gym. Maybe that was my dinner. I want seconds.

I think I have a true sports-car lover in the making!
That's cool Gene Jonas' daughter is a real trooper on rides as well, accompanying dad on the Knapp Roadster Tour last year we had a pretty spirited ride and she had a big grin on her face.

I know that is will be hard to believe, but I am staying home, unpacking, catching up on local news, and doing some yard work. I am off the road for awhile.

I pulled into the diner early....about 7:45 am. There was this pushy black STEALTH car on my tail...making exhaust sounds ever louder than my new Supersprint

The driver was lively and quick....I knew in a moment that it must be the Knight Rider

He took pity on his local frugal friend and gave him a hint of Delaware wealth

....and then in a flash, he headed NORTH on the Intergalactic route to join the his fellow Darth Vader adherents

* i'll drive to Clinton NY to stay over Sun and Mon nites with my friend Alison...former client many moons ago; she's the same one that I stay with in Scottsdale. That is a tiny place, but the Upstate NY property is about 60 acres of rolling hills/ woods and a neat contemporary "barnlike" main house. She is a trust fund While I'm there, hoping to ride and/or drive her Dad's perfect Model A Ford
Just got around to pics from my Upstate NY trip. Clinton is about 20 miles N of Cooperstown of Baseball fame. It's the home of Hamilton College. My friend's "little" place includes this neat "barn" house and 144 acres of beautiful Upstate NY woods and fields. View from the approach

The large country house w/silo

The neat 1929 roadster in the garage....

View to the northwest towards town and Lake Ontario

....and a view back up the hill with Alison and her Chesapeake Retriever, Whipper

144 acres is a LOT of property in the Northeast
