Default What are you thankful for?

Today was Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for?

We all survived another year. That alone is plenty to be thankful for, but we were able to stand up to all of the problems that came our way, dodge all of the obstacles that came our way, and avoid all of the pot holes along the road of life.

All in all we, my little family and I, had a pretty good year as did most of the people that we know. We lost a few good friends, but we watched as some were born.

For me, that's plenty to be thankful for. What are you thankful for? What did you celebrate on this Thanksgiving day?

The main thing I was/am thankful for is that I still have my parents (90 and 84) around. A close second would be my sweetie, Vito. So glad I found him! And then the rest of my family (including Auntie who's 98) and friends. I have my good health, a job I like (most of the time) and a home I am happy to return to every day. Life is good...

I'm thankful that I have such great family and friends giving me support these last months. That Tom, even now, is still taking care of me.
That I was blessed in being loved by such a great man for 32 years and I'm thankful for having those memories!

Well to get a bit "unsappy" I'm thankful for my furry friends joining us for TG dinner!!!!
That is soooo cool I wish my babies would do that. All they do is beg but it is a nice beg.

You should have left it! I can't think of anything to post in this thread that would not be sappy. It's a sappy thread. One of the nieces at Thursday's dinner suggested that we go around the table and have everyone say what they were thankful for. Talk about sappy! We just sapped away!

I'm thankful for every sunrise. I never take anything for granted.

Hilly...the dogs look like they are praying and eating at the same time!
