Default Wheel of Fortune

My wife watches Wheel of Fortune every night. Tonight we turned it on and the guy that reads my pacemaker just won 28g's. Good for him. I see him in another couple months for a tuneup.

Maybe so but he couldn't figure out a really simple "Bonus Round" puzzle.

Used to be on a pool team with a captain who was pretty scruffy, pretty broke most of the time, but a really nice guy. He also happened to be a whiz at Wheel. While watching on TV at a local bar (I don't think he owned a TV) he would consistently solve the Wheel puzzles long before the contestants.

When Wheel announced a taping in New Orleans, I agreed to drive him over for the show. (He also didn't have a working car.) I think he thought he might be able to get on the show somehow, but of course that was a pipe dream. Still, we had a good time and he got to see his favorite show live and in person.
