Default When the young pass, what do you do?

Sorry to be maudlin at the holiday, but...sometimes you just need to get rid of some of the sadness.

The following showed up in my Facebook feed this morning:

I lost the sun yesterday. It passed quickly, shedding bright light through life as it made it's journey. Sadly, I outlasted it. Up before it rose and still there as it faded away. Why mourn? "There will be more days." No, there won't be. Nothing will ever be as bright as the sun was for that brief period.

I lost My Son yesterday. Mornings will never be the same.

I knew about this, as I had gotten "that" call yesterday. The young man's name was Jason, he was 35 and married, and he was my nephew.

So sad...my condolences to you and his family. I lost one of my nephews last year at 41. Gone too soon.

I, too, had this from a friend on Facebook. There is nothing that I fear more in life than the loss of a child. I'm broken hearted for Ken.

Losing a child is probably the saddest thing that can happen. Condolences to the family.

Our condolences to you and your family Ken. I don't think there is much worse than losing a child.

Sorry for your loss, Ken and my condolences to you and all your relatives. You can celebrate his life, you can spend time with his family, you can work against whatever killed him.
