Thanks, everyone who replied and sent their best wishes. I'll share your greetings with her the next time I see her. I just spent a quality afternoon with her and several friends who stopped by to see her. I even helped her shampoo her hair!
She doesn't remember much about her early stay in the hospital, so I told her all that had happened, and she was amazed. She is anxious to get out and go home, the sentiments I echo!
Tomorrow I take the S2K in to the body shop to have a "boo-boo" repaired. (I creased the top of the right rear wheel well while backing into a parking space). I was sick about it at the time, but considering what Bea has been through, it was insignificant.
You guys are really special!

Bea's coming home tomorrow!!!!!
She has recovered so well that she's ready to do everything except go up and down stairs without assistance. She'll still have to go to out-patient therapy 3 times a week, but at least she can resume some normalcy in her life. I'll be staying with her for the next few days to make sure she follows the doctor's orders!
I pick her up at 10:00 in the morning, and it will be wonderful to have her here again. Our Westie, "Maggie," is also excited! I have been taking her to see Bea every day, and they both have benefitted from that.
Thanks to all of you who have kept her in your thoughts and prayers. She couldn't have done it without them.

A coming home song for Bea.
I'll be home, my darling,
Please wait there for me,
We'll walk along together,
Once more our love will be free.
(O.K. Gene, who recorded it and what's it name?)
Welcome home Bea.

You got me on that one. I don't think I recognize it, unless it's "Lovers Never Say Goodbye", by the Flamingos?
(But it's a great coming home song, anyway!)

Shep and the Limelights. "I'll be Home". A great 50s DooWop song. Perfect to celebrate Bea's coming home.
