Default Where's our Jonas?

Maybe I missed it but I haven't seen anything from our Jonas in a long time. Has anyone heard from him?

Yeah, I've been wondering too. Wasn't Jonas going to a lake somewhere for a week?

No internet, perhaps?

^^ He was in NY but I thought that was last week. He and the family were up near Watkins Glen.

And what about Jim (S1997)? He's been quiet too. Maybe like Jerry said, it's vacation time for a lot of folks.

If Jim (S1997) is at his home near Durango, Colorado, he doesn't have internet there. He has to go without.

I neglected to pass on the e-mail reply I got from RJosey on August 7th.

...Sorry to be such a stranger these days (months...year...). We've been heavily involved in pulling together the Vintage Triumph Nationals for the past year, and it was just held 3 weeks ago, but there's still so much followup stuff to get done. That and my job (and occasional sleep...less lately than I'd like) have pretty much consumed my free time. I've missed everybody and think about you guys often. I can't really get online at work to visit, so I just hate to sign on at all because it makes me want to stay on...

There is absolutley no excuse for not checking in. This forum is like Meals On Wheels. If we don't hear from someone for more than three days we get worried. (By the way I'll be on vacation next week)

Yeah, well, you'd better check in every 3 days or we'll all be

I will admit I have been sort of "missing in Action" the last few weeks. Spent the last week of July in the hospital and have been dealing with a bad gall bladder. Had that taken out last week, and now I feel much better!

A little off topic, but it is amazing what modern medicine does. Checked into the hospital for surgery at 9:30 AM, was on the table at 12:00 noon and was being pushed out the hospital door at 5:00 PM! And while that sounds extreme at first glance, I felt great! Just four little holes punched in my abdomen, and no pain, discomfort or complications! I could have returned to work by Friday, but the doctor wanted me to rest the weekend. To think that this surgery use to debilitate people for up to six weeks a decade or so ago is just amazing to me. Anyway, reporting back, and "I am feeling much better now!"

That's great news, Linesuper. Gall bladder surgery in the old days was brutal. I'm glad you're doing so well and hope you don't have any complications. for checking in with the worry-wart group.
