From whom do you attract the most attention while in your S2000?
While you're out tooling around, which segment of society do you get the most looks and attention from. Smiles? Flirtatious smiles? Envious looks. Walk up to you and praise admiration? Young gals or guys that give you, "that's to nice of a car for an old geezer?
How many find that most people on the freeway want to catch up to you and tailgate and or race? This drives me nuts. It seems not to matter how fast I am going, somebody has to take a closer look. Brats in Civics want to race.
I'm not sure how I feel about this but I get lots of attention from middle aged women. Flirtatious smiles. I've even had them approach me. Lots of guys admiring the car and it's beauty and lots of comments from kids. Nothing from young gals. Rarely a look in my direction and this is who I want the attention from!

Oh man, what a question. Most of the time I'm going to fast to notice and the Civic kids don't stand a chance.
Around town: Guys look at the car. Kids wave at the car. Cops glance at the car, then look at me. With my hat and Raybans on, I get a few looks from the girls. With the hat off, the cops don't even look!

Kids at the school bus stops early in the morning. Teenage males and early twenties males in their cars.
I've talked to a couple of younger owners in the Metro NYC group and they said the "Chick Magnet" thing is a myth.

Frankly, I was a bit worried about attracting attention with the car. I've found that a majority of people could care less though. Sure I get a few inquiries about it but not what I imagined. That's OK with me.

I'd say children, and by that I mean kids from about seven or eight through their mid-teens. They seem to love it to death! Girls and boys both -- the New Formula Red really catches their eye.
Occasional attention from young guys in Civics and Mustangs...a cop followed me once for a few miles...other than that, the car doesn't seem to get much play.
Of course, this is the Washington DC area, where we all drive around in a haze of self-importance, so most drivers would "never" acknowledge another car's coolness. (sarcasm here!)
