My condolences, Helios, for being stuck behind the Beltway. Our car probably doesn't POWER & WEALTH enough to be appealing there, certainly not like the proper German labels.
Some people, mostly young-to-middle-aged-men, have expressed surprise to find it's a Honda. The all-time worst comment expressed to me personally came from two different retiree friends who declared it "cute".

there should be a choice for all male. i get looks from pretty much all males, but i think it really depends if they are into cars or not. i also get looks from most z4 drivers as well. but thats prolly bc i live in the same city the BMW factory plant is in. i also get looks from younger females, around my age. 
but like you said earlier, it really depends where you live.
