We have an overnight planned in Fredericton in August at the beginning of our trip. That is just north of Halifax. We'll be watching....
We plan to visit there for the first time next year. I’m hoping things will be back to normal by then.

We had smoke in our region from the western fires about a week ago, and we are a long distance away. The winds don't blow our way from Eastern Canada so we won't notice much from those wildfires. I don't remember large fires there in the past, but they are getting more than their share now.

^Really hazy and smoky here today, though I could not smell the smoke.

Vito could smell it here yesterday. Today is not good. Poor air quality until midnight - 118 in DC. Also hot today - 92. Cools off considerably tomorrow.

Code Orange Air Quality Alert for the next two days here in central VA. No explanation so, once again, S2Ki has the answer.

Very bad air quality here in NY. Not sure what we will do today. Don't really want to be breathing that nasty air.

We have a code orange air quality warning in effect with the possibility of it gong code red this afternoon. It's really hazy here just south of DC.
