Words that our grand children won't know.
This evening I was thinking about all of the innovation that has occured in the automotive world and how things have changed since we were kids. Just for a chuckle I got to thinking about some of the parts and terms connected with cars that we knew that our children and grand children won't ever hear about.
Just for the fun of it I thought I'd start a list. So, here are some of the things that I don't think our children and grand children will ever know. Please add to it as you think of them.

White wall tires
Traffic circle

FM converter
Bias ply tires
Drive in movie
Car hop
Beauty rings

Parking meter.
and then in not too long we'll see obsolete:

I do suspect that we'll eventually have credit card based meters - I'd love these in Chicago (rather than going through 2 rolls of quarters to park on the street for an afternoon!
