I'm glad you still have it. That's a lot of miles.

00 bought in October 2000 with about 6K on the odometer, currently right at 40,000

So that is 34,000 miles in roughly 11.5 years. Average is 2950 miles per year.

I do notice the S gets used a lot less now that I have the BMW. I just can't get enough of 425 ft-lbs of torque.

I was driving the BMW back from the mountains today. I set my cruise on 75 and am definitely a pass on the left-pull back into the right lane kind of driver. Rather than get stuck behind slow moving traffic in the right lane, I would judiciously use the go pedal to pass on the left. A few times I shocked myself when in the middle of a pass, I look down and am doing between 90 and 100 mph - going uphill starting from 75. The problem is that it just feels better and better the faster I go.

Bought new in 2001 and sold in 2010. As almost everyone knows, the S2000 is a car my wife discovered she could not ride in due to back disc issues, otherwise I would definitely still have it. I've no idea how many miles I logged on it as I deleted my maintenance and track log records; knowing that chapter was closed...... sorry Bill.

However, I still have some items to unload to a serious collector. My S2000 memoribilia list alone is 11 pages long; and there's more to add. It includes original sales literature, books, technical references, magazines, newspaper and internet articles. The listing is in single-spaced 8-font!

My personal organzied record of S2000 history, specifications, tech tips, performance, awards, changes, competition, etc. is a whopping 244 pages of notes - all organized. I have 87 die cast and plastic S2000 models. As you can see I was planning on keeping the car.

2003, purchased new in September 2003. 47,500 miles. ~5,400 miles per year. Put 6,500 miles on it in a single trip last fall.

I bought mine new in October of '02. It has 42,625 miles on it. So divide that by 9.66 years and I do an average of 4,412.5 miles per year. So by October I should have 44,412 miles on it.

Mine was bought on February 12th 2005. It IS the best and fastest color, as any Rio owner will tell you!

It had 00001.6 miles on the Odometer when we bought it and now has 74,143.

When I realized we were doing 15,000 miles in six months every year I cut back on the use of it. I don't know which will give out first - my body or the car!
