That would be the only way to "beat the house" at Atlantis. EVERYTHING is an upgrade. We are going because the daughter is going with the grand kids and we thought it would be fun to go to the beach with them.

Lainey- I normally vacation off season. There's no need for me and the girlfriend to go in the summer when everyone else is out and about. I normally look towards the end of September to middle of October. Recently, Utah, Alaska,South Carolina in that window. Save a few bucks, less crowded, you know the deal.
This one is just one of those opportunities that popped up that's just quite a bit different than what most people would ever do/see.
I talked to one of the others who's going and been a few times. Basically, I'm packing like I visit my sister in Pittsburgh. The cold weather stuff I pick up there, so not a ton of heavy packing to do (besides the already heavy camera gear).

I have been there in the fall, before the snow starts falling, and can attest to the beauty and grandeur of the park.

Wow! Amazing pictures. Just gorgeous. Thanks for sharing not only the pictures, but the descriptions with them too. This is the kind of trip I doubt I would ever go on (I hate cold; I mean *really* hate cold), but I agree this was an amazing opportunity for you and it's just spectacular to see!
