I wouldn't expect anyone to hear from Dean tomorrow. His hand is clinched around a phantom sledge hammer and I don't think his back will allow him to walk erect for a very long time.
That's what we decided and it's surprising how much room that corner fireplace occupied. I guess if I want to see a fire this winter, there's always the bbq! But in reality, we only built fires a few times one winter in the 3 yrs that we've been here so the space will be put to better use.
Wow. Big, big job. I agree about not needing an indoor fireplace in Florida. After he gets this job all finished, maybe he'll enjoy building an outdoor firepit that you guys can cozy up to on cool winter evenings and roast some marshmallows or something like that.
