and yet even more fun.
Doctors are an excitable bunch.
Last Friday I had a bad case of swimmers ear and went in to see my primary care for it.
I casually mentioned " Since I'm sitting here already the tightness in my chest when I exercise is getting worse. "
By the end of the day I was sitting in the ER of UMass Med in Worcester wired up with electrodes and tubes stuck in my arms.
After a few hours they figured out that I had not had a heart attack and kicked me loose.
I was back Monday for a stress test which didn't take long.
Three minutes to be precise and they stopped the test. Apparently they don't like looking at arrhythmia on the screen while testing.
So it's back to Umass again today to go get an angiogram and get the deep dive view.
Until then it's no breakfast....and... no... coffee aaarrghh

The procedure went well. I did have a 95 percent blockage in one artery.
They did a balloon angioplasty and put in the stent.
I do have some other restrictions which will have to be addressed at some point in the future.
But for now I'm just chilling in recovery.
