Dave. Welcome back. Hope you caught some
Thanks Lainey. Worst fishing week in 30 years! Cold front from the north. As we were leaving the temps jumped 30 degrees but didn't help any. Still managed a great time. The highlight was seeing a wonderful show put on by the Blue Angels over Traverse City bay for over 1/2 hour.

This dumb law may help to explain why folks fail to consider stopping at intersections in China.

OMG, is that for real..........

Drivers of power-driven vehicles who stop at pedestrian crossings are liable to a fine of up to five yuan, or a warning.

It is probably for real. It is equivalent to stopping (and blocking) the crosswalk here in the US. I don't see anything dumb about it. You can also be ticketed here if you block the crosswalk.

So you don't see anything dumb about running down people?

I suspect that at least some of the legislation was lost in translation

Almost as bad here. Came close to getting nailed on Friday. Some jerk pulled right out in front of me only to get held up in traffic.
