A posting I saw about a member driving his S at 165 MPH (!) on the German Autobahn has inspired me to ask what the highest speed is you have attained driving a car, riding a motorcycle, etc. Tell us where.

I'm older now, and a bit less crazy but I did 115mph or so on my 650 Nighthawk, just out on a country road and as a passenger in a grey market BMW 333 we were doing 135mph, now I take my speed to the track...

Fastest I have driven was 125-130mph, at Watkins Glen in My Spa.

Fastest I have ridden was in the 150+mph range in a Corvette, at Watkins Glen.

Fastest I've ever ridden: 150 mph in a Honda CBR600
Fastest I've ever driven: 130 in a Honda Prelude
Fastest I've driven the S: 124 mph

 

US High: Maybe a touch over 120 MPH in my S2000. On a clear stretch of the Peeay Turnpike last year.

Euro: On May 23, I drove the rented Renault Scenic for a long time at 110 mph on the Autobahn between Berlin and Weimar

Local: On our LWG drive on Sunday in Chester County, most of the 9 of us pegged 100 mph for a minute or two on a good 4 lane road.

Motorcycle 162mph - Orange County FZR 1000 - first literbike I had ever ridden. I was slow compared to my buds.
