This is one I don't think I'm going to try...

But...as far as another use, in college, I worked at bicycle shops. We used to wipe down the frames of the bikes with the stuff - like the first ever version of quick detailer!

dont know why i didnt think of this earlier, but harley guys i knew used wd-40 to wipe down chrome when it was "booted up"-
then windex to clean it all nicely.
i used windex on a jeep (lotsa chrome) i had in the early days...

so wd-40 and windex!!

wd40 spray plus lighter, equals flame.

I have blasted wasps nests and hils with this method.

wd40 sprayed on those nasty caterpiller bugs does them in, but I am not sure about the effects on the tree trunk after long periods of use.

Be careful not to start the neighborhood on fire.

Used it out deep sea fishing as a fish and crab attractant. Sprayed on lure and even a sponge to catch dungeoness crabs in the Pacific ocean.
