303 is not known for its smell, you got that right!!
it will smell worse on tops that are either hot or not completely clean-
make sure that your top is completely cool and clean before using any preservative.
it does work well though!!

and be sure to buff it off really well- i buff twice. dont want that stuff running onto the car if you get caught in a rain storm.

I use the stuff on my vinyl and rubber and it works very well It does, however, smell like BO or stale cat pee to me. Fortunatly it doesn't linger a long time. I'll continue to use it because it works well and is inexpensive

I never noticed my 303 smelling that funky. Sure it isn't the user?

Yeah, I don't use it anymore due to the odor.

I returned one bottle to them and the replacement smelled OK. Once that was used up I ordered another. It reeked of BO so again I returned it. Unfortunately the replacement also reeked of BO.

Through email correspondence with them they said freezing the product creates this smell and renders the product ineffective. But being in So Cal I've never experienced freezing of products, so something else must be amiss. Regardless, I don't want it to be hit-or-miss whether I receive a bad smelling batch so I moved on to a different product.

I now use Finish Kare 108. Works great and doesn't stink.
