Default 98 Eclipse GSX

did a partial detail of roomates 98 GSX. The car is always neglected, DD, no garage, etc. It has TONS of chips/scratches and even getting some oxidation.

Process/products

Adams wash
Adams Detail spray
IG
Plexus
Adams carpet/upholstery
Menzerna sip/106fa
PC w/ edge pads
Chemical guys clay
DD MF towels
Big blue
SchMitt
2 bucket/grit gaurds
various brushes
6hp Vacuum
Jetseal 109
p21s

started with wheels- tons of tar/rash on wheels. cleaned up brushes and wool mitt
2 bucket wash- paint was in horrible condition

cleaned glass

clayed after wash- the clay REALLY marred his paint. ive never seen paint get marred so bad from clay. I guess that just shows how bad the paint job is.

Detail spray and dry w/ big blue

My roomate at this point was scared of me detailing his car once he saw the marring. I basically told him to give me some time and id get all swirls/marring out. long story short i was limited in what he was confortable with at that point.

I settled on using 106fa/SIP on blue edge pad. This was not aggressive at all. took out 100% of the marring and about 70% swirls.

2 coats of jetseal 109 and 1 coat of p21s

car looks a lot better. hes really happy with it. I wish i had more time and confidence from him to do it to my standards though.
